Background: I grew up in Port Jervia, N.Y. and attended public school from Kindergarten
through twelfth grade. God used my first teaching experience at N. Spencer Christian
Academy to show me the great importance of having a Christian education. I attended
Baptist Bible College thinking God had called me into the youth pastorate, but God
opened the door for me to teach at C.C.A. I have used a lot of my degree in building
relationships with my students and their families, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching. I
enjoy watching and participating in sports. I also enjoy landscaping, fishing and hunting.

Education: I teach 5-12 History, 6-12 boys P.E. classes (with help from SUNY Cortland students)
and Accounting. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Bible with an emphasis in Youth
Ministry from Baptist Bible College in 1999, and have completed 27 of 33 credits
towards my Master of Ministry degree from Baptist Bible Seminary. This is my twelth
year of teaching full-time in a Christian school setting and my eighth year teaching at
C.C.A.

Favorite Verse: Galatians 2:20, “ I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I
who live but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in
the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.”
